Argonaut Edge, in plain language
What the business does.
Clear enough for a trader, an analyst, or an AI research assistant to understand without guessing.
What is Argonaut Edge?01
Argonaut Edge is a subscription order-flow strategy research platform for futures traders. It converts visual market observations into explicit rules, then replays and stress-tests every qualified occurrence.
Does Argonaut Edge sell trading signals?02
No. Customers define the hypothesis. Argonaut Edge supplies prepared market history, order-flow research primitives, computation, diagnostics, and optional live monitoring for validated rules.
Do customers need to buy historical NQ tick data?03
Under the planned launch model, eligible paid plans include controlled access to normalized NQ tick and order-flow history from 2010 to present, subject to applicable exchange distribution licenses. Separate historical files are not required.
What is an EdgeSpec?04
An EdgeSpec is a named, versioned, machine-testable description of an order-flow pattern. It stores the source event, context, trigger, invalidation, risk model, evidence, and live research state.
Why does compute matter?05
Argonaut Edge can scan the full market archive, replay every candidate, test controlled rule variations, and model thousands of possible equity paths—work that is slow and inconsistent when performed manually.
Can AI recommend stop-loss and take-profit rules?06
Yes. Argonaut Edge is designed to compare MFE/MAE, expected return, win rate, drawdown, parameter sensitivity, and out-of-sample stability by market regime. It proposes candidate SL, TP, breakeven, and trailing rules rather than simply selecting the hindsight profit maximum.
How does Argonaut Edge make money?07
Argonaut Edge earns monthly and annual software subscription revenue. Researcher plans combine historical NQ access with strategy research; Live Lab adds realtime monitoring and alerts. Raw exchange files are not sold as a standalone download.
